Drat. Woke up late yesterday, prob cuz of the long flight. Turned out I forgot my favourite nescafe cup and one of my pants. Oh well. Thenn went over toChinatown to get some chickenwings. Chickenwings are as cheap as they can get here in Brisbane.
I'm in the middle of a depression right now. Returning home after 2 and a half years, then flying back to my 2nd home 3 months later. Looking back, time didn't pass by quickly, time seemed to pass by excruciatingly slowly during my 4 week elective. What a drag, even though seemed to enjoy it. Maybe I didn't that much. Then zip! It's quite a blur after that. There was no 'high' when I was back in Brunei. Was feeling a bit low when I returned home after 2, 1/2 years too. Short term depression associated with socioenvironmental change perhaps?
As for today, checked out the car that I'm gonna be buying soon. Why am I buying it? So I can drive to the Princess Alexandria hospital as well as the Royal Brisbane hospital without worrying about the bus times. Also may help when the exam approaches, when I know I would be staying back late in the hospital or university like last year. There is airconditioning to protect me from the sweltering summer heat. The car wouldn't start! After 2 and a half months. So I bought this car jump starter with the help of a friend. It's charging right now hope it works. The owner would be returning to Brisbane in March, so the transfer of ownership can take place then. Right now I'm worried about the rego which is gonna expire in like 3 weeks.
Orientation starts tomorrow. Gotta wake up early. Meeting all them ol' frinds I haven't seen in the last 75 days. Should be a blast! Gonna exchange lotsa, uh, stories.
